  4. Have they performed at similar events, and can I speak to a reference?
  5. Which languages and styles can they perform in?

Schedule and format

  1. What time do they arrive, set up and sound-check?
  2. How many sets, how long, and when are the breaks?
  3. Can they cover several moments (ceremony, dinner, party)?
  4. What is the repertoire, and can we request specific songs?
  5. What is the dress code?

Technical needs

  1. What does the technical rider include?
  2. Do they bring sound and lighting, or does the venue provide them?
  3. How much space and power do they need?
  4. Does the venue have sound limits or a music end time?
  5. Who is the technical contact on the day?

Logistics and paperwork

  1. Who pays for and books flights, hotel, transport and meals?
  2. Do the artists need visas or work authorisation for this country?
  3. Does the event need a permit, and who applies for it?
  4. Is there insurance for the performance and equipment?
  5. Who is the agency's contact person on the day?

Contract and backup

  1. What exactly is included in the price?
  2. What is the payment schedule?
  3. What happens if the artist cannot perform, and who is the substitute?
  4. What is the cancellation policy for both sides?
  5. Is everything above written in the contract?
