Lisbon is one of the cities SIDERAL coordinates from, and the place where we recently coordinated 43 artists across a two-day corporate programme. We put together entertainment for congresses, gala dinners in palaces and convents, product launches and incentive trips: multilingual hosts, live bands, fado and string ensembles, DJs, dancers and hostesses, with Portuguese talent and artists who travel from our network in Europe and Latin America.
Lisbon's congress calendar is busiest in spring and autumn, and November is shaped by Web Summit, which takes place at the MEO Arena and FIL from 9 to 12 November 2026. During that week hotels, venues and the most requested performers fill up early, so side events, client dinners and receptions need the earliest confirmation of the year. FIL and the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa host most large conferences, and their calendars already list events well into 2027, such as World of Coffee at FIL from 17 to 19 June 2027. In mid-June the city also celebrates its popular saints, with Santo António on the night of 12 to 13 June, when the historic centre fills with street parties.
Venues shape the entertainment more here than in most cities. Convento do Beato, a historic convent beside the Tagus, hosts galas and award nights in its cloister and halls; Pátio da Galé, under the arcades of Praça do Comércio, suits dinners and cocktails in the heart of the old town; and MAAT in Belém offers a riverside rooftop for receptions, although the museum notes sound limits for concerts. In heritage spaces we confirm stage size, load-in times and volume with the venue before proposing a band or a show.
Outdoor music has its own rules. Under Portugal's General Noise Regulation, temporary noisy activities such as shows and parties near homes are not allowed on weekends and public holidays or on weekdays between 8 pm and 8 am without a special noise licence from the municipality. In Lisbon the request has to be submitted at least ten working days ahead. It is not needed in venues already licensed for shows, which is one more reason to involve the venue early in the planning.
Artists from the European Union, the EEA and Switzerland can perform in Portugal without a visa. Performers from other countries need either a short-stay Schengen visa for up to 90 days or a temporary stay visa for the entertainment sector, and the Portuguese government advises applying more than 30 days before travel. Audiences at Lisbon events are often international, so we usually propose hosts who work in English and Portuguese, and add Spanish, French or other languages when the guest list calls for it. A short fado set or a Portuguese guitar duo during dinner is a popular way to give visitors a taste of the city.

Spring and autumn are the busiest seasons. The Web Summit week in November is especially in demand, so for side events and client dinners on those dates we recommend confirming venues and entertainment several months ahead.
Often yes. Near homes, outdoor shows on weekends, public holidays or weekday evenings after 8 pm need a special noise licence from the municipality, requested at least ten working days ahead. Venues already licensed for shows do not need it, and we check this with the venue.
Yes, with the right visa. Non-EU performers need a short-stay Schengen visa or a visa for the entertainment sector, and the application should be made more than 30 days before travel, so we plan the line-up with that time in mind.
Yes. A short fado set with Portuguese guitar during dinner works well for international guests, and we can follow it with a band or a DJ for the rest of the night.
Yes. We can provide only the entertainment and coordinate with your DMC, venue and production team, or take care of the full programme across several days.
